Marcus Voght is very excited to direct the orchestras at Centennial Middle School!  This is his fourteenth year teaching.  He enjoys working with the students and loves teaching music.  

Mr. Voght graduated from Brigham Young University with his bachelor's and master's degrees in Secondary Music Education, having also received a minor in Spanish Teaching.  He lived as a missionary in Argentina for 2 years and fell in love with the Argentine people and the Spanish language.

​Mr. Voght lives in Spanish Fork with his beautiful wife, who is a local viola and violin teacher.  Mr. and Mrs. Voght have two children and they are the best.  Mr. Voght grew up in Washington and Colorado.  He loves movies, gardening, cooking, watching YouTube videos, and getting together with friends and family to eat out (Café Río is his favorite...).  His biggest passion is for music and helping others find joy in making music.
